Aquarium

So we hit all the conventional tourist attractions. The third day we went on a monorail trip to the Sydney Aquium.

croc.JPG (4927 bytes)The aquarium was set up so that you had to go from one section to the next and you didn't really miss anything by just following the path. The first thing up was the crocodile. He had a pen all to himself and you could climb up and around his pen to get a picture from above of him.

python.JPG (11077 bytes)Next up reptiles. These albino vipers were kinda cool.

My main reason for going was to see sharks and rays. That was about it. Pretty fish really don't do anything for me. but I did.

One of the cool things that they had were areas were you actually went underneath the water in tubes so that the fish were swimming all around you. The rays were in such an area and the big one on the right was hube and very fast. It was not easy to get a picture of him.

There were a few and the Barrier Reef setup they had there was very nice and when I actually got to dive the reef it was identical to what they had but more beautiful because I was swimming in it.

SHARKS!!!!!!! No great whites or tigers even, just pretty tame ones that live around the reef and won't harm you. Nurse sharks mostly, what the others are I don't recall.
