Indian Head
When were on the tour of Fraiser we had received 2 choices for the next day of the tour. One was to go to Indian Head. Unfortunately it seemed everyone wanted to do that and we were unable to get on the tour. The other on went to Cathedral Beach and some other various stops. We decided against that one. After breakfast we tossed around the idea of renting a 4X4 and driving up to Indian Head ourselves. That way we could also drive back to Lake McKenzie if we wanted to. It was a go. We decided to do so. The 4X4 turned out to be a manual transmission so I would get to do all the driving. WHAT A TRIP!!!!!! I got to drive on a beach!

The view was spectacular. And very steep.............While walking on the beach we got to see a box jellyfish washed up on shore. That is why swimming is prohibited in the ocean on the island. One sting from the Jellyfish and you are dead.

Beautiful ocean shots during stay at Fraiser. There were some high winds and thunderstorms while we were there.

The dingo's are not tame by any means on the Island. But they will come up to the houses and scrounge for food. Or in this case some right up to the hotel patio.
One of the modes of transport on the Island is by tour bus.
On our trip back to Noosa we passed another view of the multicolored sand that is on Fraiser.
